The material used is Panama, hand-woven by artisans in Ecuador.
Panama is a typical material for summer hats because it is durable, breathable, and has excellent moisture-wicking properties, and it can be beautifully shaped when making hats.
Among the Panamas Blows uses, "irregularly woven Panama" is different from regularly woven Panama, as it is made by combining different knitting patterns depending on the location, making it a rare material that is not widely available today.

The ceiling of the crown and the area around which the ribbon is wrapped are made of dense mesh weave, so by making it a telescope crown with a flat ceiling, you can enjoy the different appearances that are unique to irregular weave, such as the gradation of the weave when viewed from above and the cool texture of the material when viewed from the front.
